He was supposedly on £42,000 a week as director at Sunderland

For a non-exec director? Yeah, right.

Press over the weekend were saying £300,000 a year.

£42,000 was the amount reported in Sunday Times

Also in Mail he earned £125,000 for 15 days work as Director

Circa £42,000 per week would be right if it was £125,000 for 15 days. For a year would be over £2m

A true hero of the left then, and a natural ambassador for the working classes.

Good on him for standing up for his beliefs I say.

Obviously he will admit, Swindon went into administration, he spent a lot of money in league one as well....

Yep.

Lovely to see Man U gobshite fan I know banging on about how terrible it is, especially in the premier division.  Like the premier division is a sanctuary of virtue untainted by anything dodgy whatsoever.

I shall watch from afar not having to worry how it is affecting anything I truly care about.

Nothing.  Its all lovely up there.  Just sport from sports sake.  All the money that goes in to it is from good clean companies and the players are just in it for the game.  And they're all bastions of virtue those PL players.

Nope.

I'm sitting here watching it completely jealous and wondering where we'd be right now (...and beyond) if he was still our manager.
