Haha Mental.. Obviously didn't wanna stay in league 2

Exactly. L1 or L2. I know where I'd rather play.

Not good enough

Messi has no L2 experience.

Leaves us needing an entirely new forward line, with Bodin to provide back up

Leaves Bodin as our only registered striker at the moment.

Baffling.

Guess the player must have initiated this move, but does leave us with zero players whose main position is striker.

However a complete overhaul of the front line might not be the worst thing, our forwards weren't exactly prolific last season.

Unless we sign 2-3 recognised forwards in the next few days I'm thoroughly unimpressed

End of the day he may have said he wants out but if no one offers what we spent then whats the point in selling? Loan him out if he scores then we get a better fee if he doesn't then fuck it.

The lad is a wycombe fan and used to be a season ticket holder,i really can't imagine this is just the clubs doing here

This is one of the strangest STFC deals ever.

Can only assume he wasn't committed to the cause but Wycombe couldn't afford to buy? OR Di Canio has threee shit hot strikers coming in.

yes yes, long way to go before the seasons starts, etc, etc. Still finding it a bit worrying right now.

Fucking Wycombe.

Now I'm starting to get worried. We have 1 week until the players are due back and our squad is about 10 strong at best.

Fucking pissed off.

Rumour has it he was told he wouldn't be part of Di Canio's plans next season
