Anybody read the Lee Child novels? They've just cast Tom Cruise to play Jack Reacher!!!!! The movie business can be fucking stupid! How does Cruise play a 6'5 240lb ex military police! Guess the rest of the cast will have to be midgets!

Similarly, I thought casting Morgan Freeman to play Alex Cross in the film adaptations of James Patterson's works wasn't the right call. Needn't matter because the films weren't very good anyway. I suppose an adaptation is adaptable though.

I agree about Morgan Freeman as Alex Cross, also i think that they should make films for most of the James Patterson books, the Maximum ride series and the Private series would be the best.

Denzel Washington was cast but had other film commitments which is a shame as he would have been perfect in my opinion

Saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two on Friday.
Brilliant film, brilliantly directed and well worthy of being the last film in the franchise.
Personal highlights were Emma Watson/Hermione Granger in Helena Bonham-Carter/Bellatrix Lestrange's corset, humerous moments from Rupert Grint and Matthew Lewis and the Snape Memory sequence. The battle of Hogwarts was done superbly IMO.
Would recommend people go and see it even if you haven't read the books or are unaware of the story as it is also a very good action film.
Sad but fitting end really.

Ironclad.
Simple storyline, lots of people being chopped, stabbed or decapitated. Serving wenches covered in dirt. Great stuff.

Saw Bridesmaids at the weekend. One or two funny bits but overall utter shite.
It's funny you say that, I was forced into watching it with much protest, yet thought it was brilliant... I actually cried through laughing at one point

I think that's the beauty of going into a film with really low expectations.
