Steve Cotterill 6/4 Micheal Appleton 4/1 Paolo Di Canio 6/1
PDC would totally fuck up City, they have no money to finance the inevitable squad overhaul he would insist on. Please make this appointment happen!
If Lansdown agreed to fund him, he'd have them in the top half of the Championship inside three years. Give the job to Cotterill!

Clearly Appleton's a shoo-in, what with his vast experience and unparalleled win percentage. I can't believe he was unemployed to be honest, especially when we've got a mug like Jed Power Cooper in charge

Genuinely disappointed in Sean O'Driscoll's sacking...was doing a mighty fine job.

It looks a weak league this season as only 3 or 4 points separating the top 10 suggests.
Obviously Pompey are a much larger club than them and will, no doubt, in time climb back up.
Not knocking the Pox just for the hell of it but there is only so far they can go. Even having a successful season so far has seen attendances drop.
Long may it continue!

A lot of their fans are still blaming Wilder for the lack of atmosphere/falling attendances at the Kassam, despite their being top of League 2. Interesting situation. If I was him, I'd probably be giving serious thought to Pompey (even though they're a basket case). He got Oxford back in to the League, beat us several times and is now preparing them for a possible return to Division 3. What more can he do? Fair enough - the home form is average at best, but the away form is excellent. The Kassam is a characterless concrete bunker, so hardly conducive to producing a run of electric home performances for them. No love lost for Oxford, obviously, but he is now one of the League's longer serving managers. Even though it is them, a tenure like he has had is something that I'd like to see more of.
