Excited to see him play. Will be nice to have some kind of aerial presence. I've got a good feeling about this...

Excellent. About time we had someone who could challenge in the air for Pritchard's wonderful set piece deliveries, especially corners.

Those goals were very well taken and the reaction of the Charlton fans is very positive for us. Hope this gets finalised now!

I saw Smith play for AFC Wimbledon in late November at Bristol Rovers. He was terrible, they were all terrible.

League Two isn't fun.

Looking at the Videos, seems like a Alex Revell type of player.

Old fashioned lower league centre forward, hopefully he can work with Pritchard.

This one come out of nowhere, don't we have anyone in the know anymore?

Do we have a scarf over head pic yet...as it's my understanding Oxford are interested in him, perhaps after seeing the massive potential of their 2700 home fans last night we've been Uddersfield.

Deal done, 100k with add-ons up to 200k. Charlton with a sell-on-clause too.

If so, 10/15 goals by the end of the season for 100k will be a good return. Hopefully there's not a clause on that...

Always thought we made a mistake with Revell - And hasn't he made us pay since!

Not quite with you there, he's only scored 19 in 106 games for Rotherham, admittedly 10 have probably been against us!

Just thought he was a good hard working foil for a goalscorer - More Billy Painter than Charlie Austin

Speaking of Charlie Austin, I wonder if he's an outside chance to make the WC squad in the summer. We're not exactly stocked with strikers...should he manage to keep scoring for QPR, then he must come into the list, then there's always injuries.

It's a short list....Rooney, Sturridge, Wellbeck, Defoe, Lambert, poss Carroll, then outside bets....poss Berahino, I'd have Austin in there. Any others?

Jay Rodriguez will go over Defoe I hope.
In fact there's about 4 Southampton players i'd happily stick on that plane above others regulars.

Smith has signed by the way
