I agree, he would choose them above us I fully expect, the Newport fans loved him too.

Wasn't sure if this is right or wrong with football, I settled on right as I agree with the principle but worried about the practicality and match day preparation for the future.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57996593

Footballers in England are to be limited to 10 "higher force" headers a week in training under new guidelines for the upcoming season.

"Based on those early findings, which showed the majority of headers involve low forces, the initial focus of the guidance will be on headers that involve higher forces.

"These are typically headers following a long pass (more than 35m) or from crosses, corners and free-kicks.

"It will be recommended that a maximum of 10 higher force headers are carried out in any training week.

"This recommendation is provided to protect player welfare and will be reviewed regularly as further research is undertaken to understand more regarding the impact of heading in football."

You can see lighter balls being introduced as well as it becoming a non contact sport

I can see headers gradually being removed from the game.  It's something that would alter the game significantly, but why should that be a problem?  Using your hands is already against the rules and back passes to GK's was removed.  At least this has a safety element.

I'd understand people being against it, but it is a uniquely dangerous part of the game (given what now appears to be known about the impact).  Someone getting a broken leg from a bad challenge is not the same as voluntarily smacking the ball with their head because it is part of the game.
