going to see revenrend and the makers sunday night in reading... so they're good live? Modest Mouse also good, not convinced with the shins?

Shins album is quality. Ordered the Enemy today which will hopefully arrive this week.

i got icky thump by the white stripes the other day and it is fantastic.

got the new queens of the stone age album too and am significantly less impressed with that. the further they get from the day nick oliveri left, the worse they become.

Im loving tracks by Kate Nash at the moment1

Foundations (the well known one!) and "Caroline is a victim" and "Birds" are also very good.

the last QOTSA album was superb. but after i heard the new single i knew straight away the new album was going to be poor. i suppose they can't keep producing the goods of Rated R and Lullabies every time can they?

the new modest mouse and the shins albums are quite good.

I've just bought that Modest Mouse effort by accident.  Can't believe it picked up the wrong CD payed for the it and only just realised it.

It's not bad though  Cheesy

I didn't mind it. It's not a bad album but it's not at the same level. I like No One Knows and Go With The Flow. The rest are fairly average. Didn't like all that radio crap in between songs either.

Songs beginning with "Fl" are in fashion at the moment. I recomment Flux by Bloc Party and Flex by Dizzee Rascal.
