What he means is that Inverness have not yet decided whether to offer him a contract so he is keeping his options open.

Didn't Power power talk of bringing him back end of the season and 'integrating him' as although he is out of contact he is under 23 so Power will want to get a fee for him

Simon Ferry's cup final diary is, unsurprisingly, an entertaining read.

On Paolo:

Quote
He also knew everything that went on. I don’t know how he managed to find it all out — but he missed nothing.

I remember he caught a few of us going out on a Saturday night before a Tuesday game and wasn’t happy.

He told me to see him in his office and when I walked in, he was sitting at his desk in just his pants.

I couldn’t concentrate properly again.

Di Canio sat me down, pointed to his body and told me I could play at a higher level if I lived my life properly — like he did.

To be fair, he was still in good nick. In the pre-season runs, he would be up with the top group even though he was in his 40s.

little bit of a non-story about 'him' here

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35940884

"I've never heard anything, but what will happen, just from being in the game a long while, is that Miles Storey will probably move somewhere on the back of the season he has had here," said the Caley Thistle boss.

"And that will not be his choosing. It will probably be the agent trying to cash in.

"If Miles Storey wanted to come back here for roughly the same deal then we would jump at it."

Really? If anything this seems to suggest that 'he' is a bit dim and easily led leaving his agent to cash in whilst also paying him for the privilage, doesn't seem the words of a manager desperately trying to persuade a player to stay?

The wee man will be able to catch up with Foderingham. Don't suppose either would have thought they'd be at a final at Hampden when turning out for the Town.

To be fair he could hardly have been enjoying the game here if he wasn't playing it. Unless he means tiddlywinks

Most of us are more than aware of that, but is he worse than Hylton?

That's a good point. Fans don't seem to be warming to Hylton very much - let's send him out on loan, carry on being shit and start a rumour that he was never given a chance in the side. Bam, a new hero!
