McNamee is now at Macclesfield in the Conference. He got on our train on the way home from Bury on Saturday. None of us were cruel enough to take the piss to his face but my mate did wonder if the crowds were big enough for a player of his ability down at Moss Rose.

They lost at home to Alfreton and he was subbed too apparently.

Why take the piss at all? Did he do something wrong when he was here?

Think it was more the circumstances in which he left.

As alluded too in my initial post. Fell out of favour, somehow got a move to Norwich and then had a dig at the size of our gates. Nothing worse than that. He's not Joey Beauchamp or anything.

Which were?

There were none....

When he came back with Norwich I light heartily took the piss when he was warming up near the disabled dugout and he took it well and gave some back.

Good luck to him...

I am getting a bit sick of everyone hating ex players.......

Wow hold your horses there Flash. At no point did i say he's hated. He's not!

Any piss takes on this occasion would have been light hearted too. In fact as i already said there were none.

Macca did do a brilliant step over of my foot as he passed down the carriage though. :-)

Which gates? The ones by the club shop?
