That's shit - knocked around with Alan at a fair few away games in the mid and late 2000s.
RIP mate.

This is the water. And this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within.

Aside from just at games etc, spent a lot of time working with Alan on the Trust's stadium proposals and the campaign to get rid of Diamandis. Very clever guy who always made a contribution worth listening to. Will be sadly missed. RIP

Was it Alan that got a ban during the protests for saying to a steward he had a machete?

Was it Alan that got a ban during the protests for saying to a steward he had a machete? Yep, that's Alan. TBF he did have his saner moments too. Also famous for his love of double denim

My memory of him was in double denim at the fans forum when Andronikou and Diamandis were present and repeatedly getting threatened to be removed by security for heckling them. RIP.

That's really sad ,leading "Happy Clapper" way too easy to wind up on the internet .A nice bloke who would do anything for anyone. He took the pictures at my God Sons Christening as a favour and we shared a few beers both at Trust meetings and on his occasional L&P "Sunshine buses"
