I was tempted to give it to Gladwin, just because he had the balls to pretend to be a professional football. What a bag of shit.

Brynn, but would prefer to see him much less involved in games as the season progresses.

Easiest MotM ever, Sol Brynn by a country mile.

Wakeling and McKirdy did well but Brynn won us the point with his several saves.

Interestingly he "only" has 75% of the vote - the winner got more than that on six occasions last year, including one 93% - a cookie to anyone who can guess that performance...

82%, it's one of the six but not the top one. Lyden got a few votes that day.

Nicky Hammond seemed shorter.

That's probably because his attempted clearance at Peterborough in 1992 ish to gift them a last minute equaliser was so feeble it was as if made by an 8 year old child rather than an actual grown man.

Kicking wasn't his strong point I remember him messing up at home when he made his debut against Watford in the league cup.

Yeah his kicking was poor. That said the pitches were in a much worse state back then, I remember London Road was like a ploughed field. We still scored a superb end to end passing goal on it by Hazard that was sadly disallowed for offside.

Town had finally overcome a refereeing "offside" travesty that day.  They were in control with a brand of possession football familiar even to younger fans.  Posh couldn't touch the ball - but it was going backwards each time.  Until it reached "little" Hammond who kicked it forward.  With an apologetic dribble straight to the Posh forward with an empty net begging.  3-3. Crash

Brynn, by contrast, was absolutely solid yesterday.  He deserved to be paid double for all his overtime in covering for his truant defenders.  He sure wins my TEF MOM vote.

Ginger Tony Adcock the grateful recipient that day.

70%, McKirdy split that vote a little.

The clue is that it was a debut...
