If rumours are true, spend the 100k and get Richard Money.

Fitton wants Money For Nothing.

Alan Pardew for me - has been made available after Fitton got down to his shortlist, done well at Reading, didn't quite go right at Charlton but I think he'd do a good job (along with about half a dozen other managers I can mention) and I'd be surprised if he wasn't willing to manage at this level again for a club with ambition.

Derek McInnes at St Johnstone looks like a top prospect although to be fair he's only in his first season as a manager. Well worth a look though.

Can't see Fitton risking another from north of the border to be honest Dazzza

I don't think Fitton would risk his reputation on appointing someone with little experience as he would get crusified if it all went wrong again.

I couldn't imagine McInnes accepting either to be honest.  First season and all that in charge and he’s looking odds on at the Scotch Premiership next season while we’re sniffing down the barrel of League two.

On the other pair I know it sounds fucking atrocious and just a little bit greedy but I can’t see the value in either Pardew or Wilson.

Pardew especially who has all the charisma of a steaming donkey turd and has managed to trade off that decent season and a half at Reading in the late 90’s for far to long.  Danny “Bloody” Wilson is a different kettle of fish but I’d be twitchy appointing him off the back of his record of relegating struggling teams in this league alone.

That said he has at least been fairly consistent over the years and if he managed to stave off relegation he’d probably keep us pottering around mid-table for a good few seasons in this league.  He just doesn’t inspire confidence that he can ever get out of this league although perhaps given where we are that’s being a bit greedy.
