Reg you should go on who wants to be a Millionaire and give some of the winnings to Swindon and keep some and maybe invest a bit in the research and development of lawnmowers or something similar

How does Wrexham get you both the highest AND the lowest scores in scrabble?

I'm not doubting you Reg, just wanting to know really. It's not that I think you are wrong or anything, more that I'm curious as to the answer. Sorry. Sir. It won't happen again.

Bury would get the lowest score at Scrabble wouldn't it?

The answer to 2 is definitely Brentford, not Bristol City.

....And if the answer to Q4 is correct, Neil Kinnock's a c***!

I only suggested it for the highest,  got to be a trick question.

I think all the answers are league 1 teams.

Franchise/Wimbledon is the only trick I can think of.  Or maybe the trick is MK or Milton Keynes.

1. Walsall are unique in League One for what reason ?

There are 3 "L" in Walall, making them unique.

2. Bradley Walsh once had a trial at which League One side ?

Brentford, which most people got right.

3. Which clubs name and name of ground both relate to wood ?

Barnsley and Oakwell. Just about everyone got that.

4. Neil Kinnock is alledgedly a fan of which club in this division ?

Lots of people said Wrexham, but it's Brentford.

5. What was odd about Roy Cashley goal for Bristol City against Hull City in 1973 ?

Goal scoring goalkeeper. Every Bristol fan knew that.

6. Which League One club were the first to install floodlights (and it's not Sheffield Wednesda, thats the first floodlit game! ) ?

Swindon Town, which our Swindon fans got right.

7. Which League One team started out as Heaton Norris Rovers ?

Stockport County. Easiest question !

8. Ambrose Brown was sent off for Wrexham against Hull City in 1938. How long was he actually on the pitch ?

Only 20 seconds, and only one person was correct.

9. ".......shirts were so rare you would wind down the window and point one out" was once said by who, and which team were they talking about ?

Lorriane Rodgers, chairwoman for Tranmere Rovers. Not even the Tranmere fans knew that

10. Hull City would get you 16 points, but which current team would get you the you the highest AND lowest scores if you were playing Scrabble (and I don't want AFC included in that)[/i]

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY
141441112 412111214 = 36 is the most

WALSALL
4111111 = 10 is the least

Lots of people play Scrabble then !

Good standard for Week One. Scores to follow.....
