I'm as disappointed as the next man at the press conference.
Depends whether the next man is Reg or not. No-one could match the depth of his disappointment Wink

I imagine Reg is a little relieved the despair can be dragged out a little longer  Wink

Have Seebeck 87 bought 99% of the club or 99% or the previous or a new holding company?

If financial due diligence was completed based  on funding from other sources (other than the four gents unveiled today those sources need to be listed within the company structure for that funding to be meaningful.    What I am not clear on is if Jed and the rest of the gents unveiled today are the new owners under their own steam, which at face value is no bad thing and are not reliant on the other sources for finance.

They deserve some prodding on the lack of information on these backers but not on how they came across in the press.  It takes some skill and to  speak in public in front of the press  and given the background of all four directors I wouldn’t have expected any have experience.

A little longer?

It will go on for a generation - if in fact we are still in business.

After some light digging, here are some facts that are interesting, but nothing you can draw any conclusions from.

Takeover company is called Seebeck 87. This sounds like an off-the-shelf firm set up by a lawyer. And there appears to be a Seebeck 86, Seebeck 85 etc.

Seebeck House is the registered office of the new firm, and is also the main office of this law firm.

This firm is very involved with Franchise. Their main sport and property partner has "worked as a lawyer with Pete Winkelman for the last 10 years in bringing football to Milton Keynes"

Great. Why can't Luton just win promotion back to the league the old fashioned way.  Wink

EMW are pretty big and one of if not the largest law firm in MK.  I wouldn't draw any conclusions with their involvement with Franchise.

Given the location its a given Wee Willie Winkle would employ them in some form or another.

The gent involved with Town is Ian Zant-Boer (Secretary) who was on the board and resigned (as did another couple of EMW entities).

Sam's revelations following his one on one interviews with the board members (in which they were apparently much more forthcoming than they were during the main conference) is going to be published on the Adver site at 7am tomorrow.  So on this basis, I'm going to cut the new lot some slack at least until 7.05am.

Hope it's worth waiting for, Sam.   Wink

When asked whether funds behind Town under new regime were similar to those under their predecessors, McCrory said they were.

So Jed appears to be a realist then.

Could not get it out of the new board who their benefactors are or what background their money is from. Sorry to disappoint.
