Eh? What's he done to upset them? Done a fairly decent-ish job hasn't he, given the material he had to work with and that they're not the richest club in the world (and Kassam owns most of their potential revenue streams)

Ha ha, sorry didn't mean to, it was a genuine question. And DV's Jesus, not me.

Yeah fair enough, just puzzled that he'd apparently done something to inspire ire. He always struck me as being slightly on right the side of mediocre, so a perfect fit for them really. And while I could see they might not see it that way, just wondered if he'd done anything in particular to upset them.

Stalker.
Wilder is a non-league manager in the eyes of a lot of Oxford fans according to my colleague who frequents the three-sided entertainment complex. I don't think the annual capitulation helps his cause either.

Apparently when they were in the Conference, he said they weren't a massive club with an illustrious history, but rather a small Conference club, and the fans needed to face that fact...it proved too much for many.

I'm probably (almost certainly) in a minority in thinking this but Paolo to Oxford would be hilarious.

I'm only replying to this now to upset you ... Apparently when they were in the Conference, he said they weren't a massive club with an illustrious history, but rather a small Conference club, and the fans needed to face that fact...it proved too much for many.

Only if it ended up like his Sunderland reign.
