How very cold it was????  I was thinking about going to the match in bare feet, but had a last minute change of heart and slipped on my favourite flip flops.  What a good decision that was.

Took me about an hour to warm up at home after the match, had to have a nice hot bath in the end, minus my flip flops.

The bloke infront of me, who always wears shorts and T-shirts, was indeed wearing shorts and t-shirt.  I can't believe his mum or bird let him out like that.  He had to admit he was cold.  

I was frozen and I was wrapped up!!

I saw that guy in shorts, is he retarded or something???  My God he could have died last night.  That was the coldest I've been at footie for a while.

Not as cold as Leyton Orient at home in the 3rd round of the cup in 1991. It was freezing Dave Kerslake could hardly stand up, 0-0 at half time the pitch announcer comes out and says the ref has confirmed that we won't be calling the game off.  Then 5 mins into the second half he takes the players off the pitch.  I was tres pissed off!!

What a bunch of lightweights, I thought it was reasonable last night because the wind had more or less dropped....OK wouldn't have gone just wearing shorts and T shirt.

  Must be something to do with having been around since before global warming more or less did for a proper winter.....and houses didn't have central heating and double glazing etc.

The thing is Reg I have got much fat on my bones, so my natural insulation's pretty thin.  Give it a few years and I might be like Tango man, immune from the cold, but at the minute I freeze too easily.

It was frickin freezing :shock:

I had my thick coat on, scarve and gloves and a hot cup of coffee and i was still froze!

It was unbearable nearly.

Christ I remember that, was sitting in the north unbelievably cold.

I was nice and warm at home because I'm a part time supporter!

Part timer and you weren't even on the match thread.  You're half the man you used to be.

I had to walk 3 miles home in the cold from Cardiff Bay as the last train had gone. It was -8 with a bitter sea wind making it even colder. I was very cold.

Fair play BWB, Did you have your flip flops on or were you bare footin'?

I had some flip flops luckily, thought I might need them for the beach.

It was the coldest I've ever been at a match,then again I was a donut because I never had a coat on.Bring on the summer,I love going to matches in the summer when its nice and sunny! 8)

I wasn't too cold. Had two t-shirts and two thick, wooly tops on though along with my scarf, gloves and good ole cup of tea!

Only problem was my toes were killing me walking out of the ground.

i was warm in the town end. didn't have a coat on, but did have 4 tops on  :wink:

 My younger kid has started to get into this game, having spent years of his life playing counter strike.....do you do these LAN things SY, where you gather round some nerds house and a whole possee set up their stuff and play 24/7

Nope, never. Spent many of an hour playing various games online, including Counter-Strike before it became infested with idiots.

LAN parties.  

A number of serious hard drinking, drug taking party loving mates have fallen foul of these things and turned into nerds over night.

The idea of packing my PC up transporting it to a house all on a Saturday night makes me feel quite queasy.

Except when you get the sun shinning right in your face and you can't see a thing  :evil:

Oh and btw Reg, I'd stop your son playing that game now before he fails all his exams, drops out of school and becomes a bum who drifts between jobs and leeches off his parents like I do.

I've actually known perfectly reasonable and normal people disappear off the face of the earth becomes of games like this.

I know what SY means, i uninstalled champ man before the start of this year to focus on exams. i've got fm2005 now and that is addictive!

Like Si Pie, I've yet to find a game as addictive as FM/CM. I can easily play all day, stopping only to skin up or get food and drink

Never been into all that dragon sucking and elf fucking shite though.

Football Manager is ridiculously addictive, now I've finished my 5th season I'm determined to stop playing for a while. I hate elf games though rubbish!

5th? Iys the ones who play until 2076 who get me up the wrong way.

You are still OK until you check the Pakistan team and its made up of names like Alex Smith and Graham Burchill.

Cant get into the super long games myself. I play for 2 or 3 seasons until I think its getting silly, then loose interest.

I usually play those kinda games for up to abour 5 years. Think the most I did was 8 seasins. Each with with a different club on LMA Manager!

 Have to admit I find it a bit strange, but  we're all different ......
