Old guy in front of me only had the ticket for game 13.  Must have been at least 70 and they wouldn't let him in.  After much arguing and edging him forward, we managed to get him in with the steward looking irritated.

If they were wanting 14, should have put something on the website a day or 2 before.

Yes, I'm sure the 70 year old would have been surfing the net.....

Lescinel, despite his dodginess in most games, was brilliant, another assist to his name, and he even managed to keep Gradel quiet when he came on to my surprise.

Yeah Lesc did alright. Actually Gradel was far from quiet! His moaning would have put Alan Shearer to shame. Definitely Premiership class whining, and he could have got a second yellow for clapping the ref when he got booked.

and did very well against a good defender in Kisnorbo.

Kisnorbo was the head band one wasn't he? If so he was totally bossed by Paynter and Austin in the physical department. Then Pericard came on and his first contribution was to flatten Kisnorbo in winning the ball.

Just remembered Cuthbert's perfectly weighted clearance over our crossbar. Had me nervous for a second!

I'm pretty sure if we'd beaten any team that were top of the table 3-0 at home it wouldn't be far off.

And one that has been favourites since day 1 in the media who up until a couple of weeks ago were full of "Leeds are running away with it". And not just beaten them, but completely outplayed them with a 3-0 scoreline that flattered them not us etc etc. But yeah, it being Lids does have a part to play - part of that is because it being them made it a big game with a massive crowd which is normally precisely where we fuck up thereby blowing our chance to get the "pop in once a season and it was still shit" contingent back on a more regular basis

Alan Green had them promoted in October.

They're still well in for a shout but Norwich City look really good and then there's Chalton Athletic.

Everyone wants to try and beat Leeds because of their cocky swagger Smiley

It would be a lot less. And Leeds were 2nd, not top.

I've got a lot of respect for the Leeds fans, they're not plastic, they were watching Champions League football not long ago, yet they still turn out to watch 3rd tier league games. How many of our fans would hang around if we had such a fall from grace?

With regard to the casual support last night, keep coming! the only way the club can advance is with increased support. We shouldn't be slagging them off, we should be welcoming them!

Steve Ryder reckons he's seen enough of Leeds to want them back in the Premiership. I think anybody who was at the game last night would say their performance wasn't worthy of the Championship.
