How to get no sleep on a work night - watch the Town away in a pulsating encounter. First 20 mins was never going to be easy at a place like Brammall Lane, but we grew in confidence and stature as the game went on and to win like that in the last minute was something else. All objectivity goes out of the window so far as I'm concerned, I thought our boys were fantastic. Still buzzing and makes the poor performances at Scunny, Macclesfield,Cheltenham or wherever else worth putting up with.

And for those sad 82ers still posting threads about us on OTIB, still banging on about dirty, niggly, divey Swindle, I suggest the look at the other PO game.
Darn sight more of that in that game - but, then again, the blinkered fuckers are still obsessed with us.

Bristol City fans have volunteered their opinions to me at work this morning. Which is nice.
I thought the win would have given me at least two days grace from their irrational craziness.

Why were they all watching us? I thought Aden Flint was having a party?

It's because 1. We have really rattled their cage this season. 2. They really want that Aden Flint prediction to come true.

Just had a look on the Sheffield Utd forum, they are so enthusiastic... 'You know when we were kids and some 'disaster' befell us? Your mum would soothe you and say 'It's for the best.' That's exactly how I felt when their second went in. We are certainly not good enough to win the play-offs and the thought of this shower in the Championship would be frightening' If we were in the same position, i couldn't imagine many town fans with that attitude. Even if it was the truth..

And they are worried that our achievement, if we were to get to the championship, would outshine theirs. No money, small town, no fans, loanees etc. :-)

Nah, that would make sense... It's that 1-0, Nathan Thompson and the Aden Flint alliance that fuels them.

Interesting reading some of the comments back. Some of them are very very strange indeed. Between 20th and 80th mins we were fucking ace. Immense. Dealt with huge pressure and dominated for long periods in a massive game. Maybe that didn't come across on the box

Absolutely knackered this morning and with a bit of repair bill to car after hitting a badger on the way home. I've been critical of him since X Mas but Byrne tore them a new one yesterday. He put in a hell of a shift and it was great to hear the northerners opinion of him on the way back to the car. Not sure where the Luongo commwents are coming from. In the second half I thuoght he was really good. Hylton is a tough little bugger and ran them ragged. Kasim, on form, is an absolute joy to watch and he loved it at then with the guys with the Iraqi flags. A great evening and up there with the best. Totally unexpected. Great to hear the home fans slagging the ref and I felt we did get the "rob of the green" last night. Hopefully Monday we finsih the job but this is Swindon..
