I only had Papa Johns in India. Perhaps not the best place to sample their pizzas!

Southall? Cheesy

I have actually never been to Southall, guessing a large Indian community?

Nah, it was in Bangalore, proper India! Smiley

I've always found Pappa Johns massively superior to Dominos, better bases fresher topping.

But they are expensive without an offer, and I'm the only person in the entire world that likes their special garlic sauce.

So you're why they sell it?

I think the only thing special about that sauce is the person who decided it was fit for human consumption. Smiley

Loads of really good Italian restaurants in Luxembourg which do much better pizzas than the generic chain muck being discussed here.

As do lots of Italian restaurants in the UK.

It's fast food. I wouldn't order a kebab and expect a gourmet classic.

What are you talking about?

The kebab is a gourmet classic.

I think Dominoes pizza would have to be up there in my "death row meals"

I completely understand that it is junk/chav food, probably mass produced with cheap ingredients.  I have eaten some expensive meals in some posh restaurants (if someone else is paying) but there is something indescribably amazing about a Dominoes.

As far as chain restaurant food goes, only GBK comes close.  You got one of those in Swindon?

Edit: apparently not

If we're going to start talking about 'gourmet' chain restaurants, Byron is fucking great. It's only in London (that I know of), but their shakes/burgers/sweet potato fries are fucking immense.
