Yeah, this belongs in the Match Day thread. Otherwise this place'll turn into OTIB.

Don't do that.

There were only 2 JJ, which have now been merged into 1. Unless I've missed some....

Nathan Jones, Brightons assistant manager accidentally ended up in the Town End while the City fans were escorted in. I asked who he was scouting and he said he couldnt tell me. I asked it was Nathan Thompson and he smiled before walking off.

I know that means nothing really, but I'd wager he was looking at a few of our boys and possibly some of City's too.

As for the reaction, bar goading the away fans they reacted the same to beating Preston more or less.

It has been reported they are looking for a striker of a certain type - so let's put 2 + 2 together and make 5

I wonder if this is the start of a bigger rivalry with Bristol City (or as some would say, a new rivalry)?

Well it's certainly reminded me why I dislike them...

Is it possible that City could stop embarrassing themselves? Are they such cry babies that they are so sensitive? Utterly laughable

Enjoyable isn't it!? 'Cry Babies' would be a suitable new moniker for City, after all Slavertraders suggests that they have a history, and as we know the current lot are '82ers so perhaps they should be christened with a more deserving nickname.

Coppers Narks has a poetic and indeed accurate ring to it.

This Whole thing is baffling, a few questions I'd really like those calling the police to answer

1. Why? At the time in the heat of the moment Nathan celebrated in front of you and, in kind, I suspect you all called him a cunt. That's football. But in the cold light of day, over 48 hours later, doesn't it all just feel a bit daft and pointless?

2. You do realise that you are making your whole fan base look like whinging cry babies don't you? It's pretty embarrassing

3. You do relaise the police are over streatched, under resourced and really quite busy with other important stuff?

4. What exactly is the crime? He jumped up and down in front of you? You realise there was one of him and 1000s of you, plus hoardes of coppers and stewards. I don't think your safety was ever in serious doubt.

5. Did you ever go to football in the 70s/80s? In fact don't answer that one, you clearly did not.

6. Have any of you actually called the police yet? Did you feel anything other than an utter helmet upon hanging up?

We should get a lot of us wearing an STFC shirt with number 2 on the back,  go to Ashton Gate in April turn round and start Jumping up and down and sing 'whoop whoop it's the sound of the police' .

I have an appointment with a city fan adviser tomorrow, will be saving that as my background for his benefit tomorrow.
