Hilarious overreaction by everyone associated with Bristol City. I'd be embarrassed if our lot acted the same.
There's a real buzz amongst the players and they would have reacted the same to beating Peterborough if it was them who were top and unbeaten.

I'm not sticking up for the Bristol City fans, who both  follow a massive club and don't hate us, but it does piss me off when opposition players celebrate in front of our fans. Which happens frequently.

That's why I love the fact Thompson does it. It pissed them off.

Highlights:

I'd recommend checking them out on the STFC Player. 4 minutes worth. Loved every second. I might watch them again later.

EDIT: I already am watching them again. But on the BCFC player. 4 minutes 15 seconds worth of highlights there.

I have just spent 30 mins of my life (yes I was that bored) looking through their many many thread on the OTIB about us and our players (20 to 30 seperate threads at least) and the victory parade around Swindon to realise they obviously aren't that bothered by getting beaten by us at all, not even slightly.

Also that they lost to a much worse team than them in every department and that we were outsung by their massive hoards of impeccably behaved fans and that we wouldn't have won if they had 11 players on the pitch hence it devalues our win blah blah blah.

Easily a red. Although I think Stephens was a bit lucky to avoid a booking at least.

I think so too Flash. Stephens was holding onto Elliot who back headed him to free himself. Red for Elliot and yellow for Stephens.

Nathan Jones, Brightons assistant manager accidentally ended up in the Town End while the City fans were escorted in. I asked who he was scouting and he said he couldnt tell me. I asked it was Nathan Thompson and he smiled before walking off.

I know that means nothing really, but I'd wager he was looking at a few of our boys and possibly some of City's too.

As for the reaction, bar goading the away fans they reacted the same to beating Preston more or less.

Will we be fined by the FA for our players celebrating in front of their fans and the tunnel incident be investigated? Anyone know?

We will fight them on the field, we will fight them in the tunnel, we will never surrender to those deluded Bristol under achieving twats.
Hand bags more likely and nothing mentioned on the radio after the game.

If 'Bilko' that posted on OTIB is on the TEF, I would just like to ask........ stop it!
Having read through the OTIB thread I agree, that bloke is fucking cringeworthy knob.

That was our Champions League Semi-Final.

Brighton sniffing around players wouldn't surprise me, Sami Hyypia was surprised by the competition Swindon provided a few months back.

Best home game I've been to in at least 5 years. The Town End was rocking, wish it could be like that every week.

I am probably one of the biggest critics of our support, particularly the TE having stood in the end during the 70,s.
Yesterday though I salute them, magnificent. Energy, anger and noise all mixed in together.
Agree if only it was even close to that in other games. 12th man and all that.

Fighting in the tunnel at the end. I enjoyed it as you can tell.

I think Stephens used his arm/elbow before that as well. Some refs would have given a red for that.

Doesn't excuse Elliot's actions though and I'm certainly not going to complain about it.
