Should have walked.

How the fuck did the umpire not see that though?! Hardly feathered it through did he.

Let's play a game.  We're currently 232 ahead.  What lead would we need, in your view, to have

(a) a 50% chance of winning; and
(b) a 75% chance of winning.

I'll start.

(a) 250 runs
(b) 320 runs

I think we're past 50% already and 280 is 70%

Should have walked

Disagree

It's the umpires job to give him out - none of the down under thieves would have .......

I like Broad even more now for that... stroll up to Bell as if nothing has happened. Excellent.

If we're going to invest our faith in the honesty of the batsmen, then if Broad should walk when he knows he's nicked it, Trott should be able to refuse to leave the field when he knows he's hit it onto his pads.

Putting myself in the shoes of Broad, I don't think I would have walked.. I don't think many people would have.

Would like to see walking but accept in hindsight that its not common now- Sky just shown one of Clarke hitting it into his thigh guard, being caught and not walking from the last series so what goes around comes around.
