What a test match! Not high scoring and the wicket always kept the bowlers interested! At 109-0 the Aussies were coasting to 299, but what a spell from Broad and Bresnan to rip through their batting line up! Not sure what's up with Jimmy at the moment, maybe suffering from fatigue?! Ian Bell man of the series so far for me, scored vital runs when needed and appears to have come of age with his 3 hundreds!

So 3-0 up with 1 to play, would you make any changes for The Oval ahead of a busy Winter down under? There's a week's gap between test matches and I know the England selectors like to keep the same side wherever possible. I think it's a good chance to perhaps rest Anderson and bring in Tremlett, harder deck at The Oval and we've seen the bounce Tremlett can get in Australia so a good chance for him to come in and show what he can do! Less pressure on the likes of Root/Bairstow/Prior so expect them to get big runs on what should be a good batting track!

Matt Prior is a clown

Should we drop him like we should have Bres?

I was there today and will never forget it! Unfuckingbelievable. That was proper special! Love the north east, love Broady, and fucking love England. Been a long long day but I've had worse Mondays that's for sure.

Get in!!!

Final test of the Summer starts tomorrow, looking forward to going to The Oval for Day 1, it's been 6 years since I last went!

I expect Tremlett to replace Bresnan in what looks like the only change, don't care about the Aussie side...all about the 4-0!!!

I'll be there, too, Major!  My first visit to the Oval.  Can't wait.

I'm going Friday and Sunday too if it goes to a fifth day.

Would love to see us make it 4-0.

Watson to bat at 3 for Aus and Faulkner to come in and bat at 7 in place of Jackson Bird with Haddin at 6.

Nice of them to give everyone a go and change everything all over again. The parallels with the 90s England side are very entertaining

Hopefully there will be one distinction as England used to win the "dead rubber" last tests at the Oval.

Thought Faulkner was a bit unlucky not to play before as I thought he was their best bowler in the Champions Trophy. He probably didn't play before as he's a left hander, who'll hopefully leave plenty of footmarks for Swanny.

Fully agree with Nemo that the Aussies don't know their best 11, trying just about anyone and everyone to get the best balance.

Just finished reading the Jim Laker autobiography.

A great read and a great insight into cricket in his time.

PS...its free to a good home if anyone wants it.

Darren Lehmann has accused Stuart Broad of "blatant cheating" on Australian radio and has urged Oz fans to abuse him at the match. Sour grapes? Whether there is any truth in it or not, the instruction to their fans is childish, to say the least.
