Title: Web Pages Post by: Nomoreheroes on Monday, March 5, 2007, 20:42:34 Wonder if one of you geeks can help me? Wanna create a webpage/blog when I tour round the world in the summer. Want to get something that is free and enables me to build a page offline in Microsoft Frontpage.
When I've done this before I've always used the free webspace you get with your isp. Unfortunately this time I wont have an isp. Thought about creating something with Live Messenger or Yahoo, but will have to be online to update. Since I'll be sat in hotel car parks trying to steal internet access from then I don't particularly want to do this ! All I really want to do is to post photos of where we have been and what we've been up to in order to keep in touch with my family. Any suggestions ? Its completely free, and handles all of the layout and that, and you can still make alterations if you fancy.

the only one I know properly is Christye in goal.....most I know of because on my mates was in their year at school and he knows em. Play football sunday evenings with tom aldred sometimes as well.... I hit the left for two seasons and no-one picked up on it, one season i didnt miss one including the final! Thanks for the advice chaps. Have had a play with Wordpress. Created a blog, but seems to keep falling over and takes ages to edit. Looked at the freeweb thingy and its okay, but think I'll have to pay on there to use Front Page. Any other suggestions ? I also recommend looking for a flashy template/theme getting a few plugins such as a wysiwyg editor for the admin area. Stick with Wordpress, it's properly good. Alternatively buy a package with http://1and1.co.uk/ I think most have free blogs and the blogs they use are very good, simple as hell and use a wizard interface for the config of them.
