Lots to look forward to tonight. In particular, it’ll be interesting to see how (or if?) he fits Barry into the XI, how Davison shapes up and if he’s going to fill Simpson’s boots, whether Tomlinson displaces either wing back, and which centre back drops out to make way for Cooper. Garner may of course bench the new boys and tell the others to go out there and fight for their places. Also hoping we see a bit of Jack Payne back. We’ve missed him.

Not a bad looking squad when written down. Decent options on that bench.

Yesterday they signed Isaac Hutchinson midfielder from Derby on loan, Amrit Bansal-McNulty midfielder from QPR on loan and Taylor Seymour a keeper signed from Burgess Hill Town.

They have ex Town trialist Tom Nichols and 34 year old ex town winger Mark Marshall.

After a poor start this season their results have picked up recently (WDLDWWWDLLW) and have only suffered 3 defeats in the last 11 games, they won their last game on Saturday 2-1 at Bradford after being 1-0 down with 20 mins left and winning with a 95 minute goal.

They sit bang mid table in 13th place with 10 wins, 5 draws and 11 defeats so far scoring31 and conceding 35 goals on 35 points, 6 places and7 points worse off than Town.

Was Tomlinson signed in time do we know? Midday cut off, I know the announcement came late but that doesn't mean it was done earlier in the day...

Midfield tonight will be interesting after the weekend.

Looking forward to seeing both Cooper and Davison after a solid debut.
Expecting Barry to come off the bench during second half.
