Turbo?
He was a player you could gaurentee would always give 100% and he always had to be a part of every play and he never ran out of energy.

Not so much of a legend i suppose actually.  No-one will remember him in a few years.

The first game I saw him play was at The Manor when I was at Uni. I seem to remember him scoring 2 goals. Oxford had 2 men sent off, and the game got stopped for a while when the London road were getting a bit upset about it all. Oxford then got relegated that season too...

I think that alone gets him a cult status.

I for one will NEVER forget the two goals away against the pox Beers
Just for those goals i consider Turbo to be in the pantheon of Town players Smiley

There was definitely a comical incident whereby the referee showed one of their players a second yellow card, without realising that he had already booked him. The Swindon end then took it upon themselves to point out this oversight to him, whereupon the referee realising his mistake promptly produced the red. Classic.

I think that may have been the incident that provoked the bottle throwing.

El duque, I stand corrected just trawled the advers archives and whitehead and murphy were both sent off.  God I forgot how good that match was, best memories apart from the goals are the queues to get in and missing the kick-off after the police 'forgot' to turn up to escort the busses in.

Watch his pass to Parkin for his second against Hull at home last season.
