Don't let his distribution / crucial fuck-ups cloud your judgement.

I'm talking one-on-one 'must make' tackles.

I haven't seen better..

If only he could improve the other areas of his game (awesome lob through-ball v Wallsall as an exception)

when he times a tackle perfectly, they are absolutely superb - no question about it.

he's definitely too dark though

and i have a heart attack everytime he goes flying into a tackle

Has that ability to just step in, and make it look casual.

He often makes silly little mistakes but he makes some superb tackles!!

I never used to feel comfortable when Ifil had the ball but now I do. He takes his time a bit more and makes good passes and looks a lot more confident. I think he's a good player.

No one ever trys to tackle THE BEAST    End of the season and he will have brooker for brekfast.

Don't remind me of that game!

I honestly think that all his flaws to one side, we would be pretty screwed without him.  The number of times he has had to put in late tackles/track back has IMO stopped us conceeding many goals.

Ok, his distribution may not be great but his pace and presence at the back is essential.

No. He (too) often miss times them. Hence his high red/yellow/pen conceeded tally.

Was my MOTM last nigh though.

I wouldn't say he's the best. But i do think that since Kingy left he's shown signs of improvement, frankly he couldn't have got a lot worse  :-))(

No.

my heart was in my mouth last night when he slid in on their striker inside the box last night.

That said, he is playing much better of late.

Fuck off, he does that all the time but when has he ever given a string off penalties away?

He was superb last night.

He was very good last night.

He has given away more pens than any other STFC player this season though.
