Yeah good point!, fuck it we might aswell start supporting another team then. No need to support another team, but prepare yourself for support a League Two/3rd/4th division team. Its what the board wants, they are going on the assumption that when we do go down alot of our players will stay (why else would we be handing out 18months/2 year deals) and we will be pushing for promotion. This will bring in all the happy clappy supports because we will be winning games. The only way to bring in more fans is to have a successful team thats winning games, the best way in the boards eyes to achieve this is to drop down to a lower level of football and hope we keep our 'league one standard' players and push for promotion. |
