Does anybody know if you can get a student ticket with a connexions card or does it have to be NUS?

When i got my season ticket they let me off with using my New College Student ID card.  So i dont know what a connexions card is but i guess they're pretty easy on it.

I think you'd be safer with an NUS card.

It all depends which bloke you get in the ticket office. If you get the scot, you'll be fine. If you get the other jobsworth, you are fucked.

But if you phone and collect the tickets, they never check.

I get in as a pensioner ever week, despite the fact i look like an over-fed homeless student.

A connections card is ID for age. You can see that little shiny image in the bottom right of it, that means the card is proof of age (i think).

You can only get one if you are in post-16 education though....

NUS only I think. They usually kick up a fuss, unless you do it over the phone then they don't normally check.

Yeah exactly, but it still is proof of age not proof of you being a student. (i think)

Sorry my mistake!
You can get a connexions card between 16-19 as prrof of age.
If you are still in education it entitles you to rewards.

My bad
