Well it depends if he still has it or not. Very physical player, does an unbelievable amount of donkey work, holds up the ball very well. Would be perfect for someone like Cureton.

I think he's carry more of a threat than hoof-ball-inducing Fallon tbh

Fallon looks like he gave up on Swindon a month ago

The Peacock Files

Sheff Weds - 42(15) - 9 goals
Bristol City - 152(13) - 63 goals
Man City - 5(5) - 0 goals
Mansfield - 92(10) - 31 goals
Carlisle - 59(31) - 12 goals

Not too bad, works out just under 1 in 3 games during his career.

At least Peacock would bang in a few goals in  Division 4 if the worst happens. So on that basis I say it's a good signing. (when it happens)

Definitely.  They are paving the way for Rory's departure either now or in the summer. Hopefully now so we can get some cash.

DV has gone super pessimistic, it's fucking annoying.

A strikers a striker and considering ours arent scoring maybe hes worth a go. You know the sh!t your in when the team below you spend £100K on a player who has proven himself in this league before.

Just seen this on the BBC site, looks as though it's happening.

Peacock set to join Swindon

Sheffield Wednesday striker Lee Peacock is on the verge of a move to Swindon Town.

It is thought the two clubs have agreed a deal and Peacock has chosen to join the Robins rather than Walsall.

A spokesman for Swindon said on Tuesday they hope a deal can be done within the next 48 hours.

Meanwhile, Wednesday have terminated the contract of young winger Richard Evans by mutual consent.

The 22-year-old was signed from Birmingham in 2003 and made 11 appearances for the Owls.

Looks as though its going to happen then.I'm sure he can do a job, but i'm not going to get the bunting out yet, lets wait for him to sign and see if and how he plays on Saturday.
He's a Scot isn't he?
