LEE BRADBURY has gone on strike at Oxford after being asked to waive his right to a new contract.

The ex-Manchester City hitman, 30, agreed to a one-year extension if he plays 50 per cent of the League Two club’s games.

But Bradbury sat out Tuesday’s 0-0 draw at Peterborough after Oxford boss Brian Talbot insisted he removed the clause.

Talbot said: “Lee came here as a goalscorer but has not lived up to that.”

Bradbury has hit 10 goals in 73 games for U’s.
