Quote from: "Asher"
I dont give a fuck if fallon leaves, we may play football on the grass not in the air if he goes......

300k goes a long way

who will score the goals?

Quote from: "Asher"
We play better without him.....its that simple.

Such performance as Barnsley and Oldham, where Fallon was suspended have indeed been noted for their quality

You dont sell your main goal scorer, its simple logic really.

no you dont

even more so when you know the manager wont get a the money for a replacement.

Take out Fallon and our next top scorer is Roberts with 4...

Cureton has 0
Shakes has 0
Miglioranzi has 0
Whalley has 0
Pook has 1
Brown has 0

See where this is going, Rory is the only one scoring. We are dependant on him, getting rid of him will not help

Fuck me it's a sad state of affairs when we are "dependant" on someone like Fallon.

How do you know that Iffy won't be allowed to replace him then?

Yes it is a sad state of affairs when you rely on Fallon, but we are in a sad state of affairs.

We cant afford to buy players, simple as. We made a profit on Sam Parkin did King see a penny, no.

Oh I thought saving on Sam's wages went on signing Thorpe & Cureton ie signing on fees & wages.

The massive debt owed is just as important to the club, we can't afford to let the chance of making a lot of money on Fallon go.

We've just as good a chance of staying up with or without Fallon.  As someone else said he's not the messiah.  He's an average team player who is very replacable.

Who is going to get 13 goals between now and the end of the season then?

How many did Fjortoft score in his first 6 months at the CG?  And he had a lot more starts than JC.  Strikers just need to get off the mark that's all.

I am confident that once Curo scores he will be more than an adequate replacement for Rory Pele Fallon.  Different kind of forward, but a much better footballer.

Funny you should mention Fjortoft, remember when he was scoring lots of goals for us in the old first division in 94/95 then we sold him for peanuts didnt score for about the next 9 games and got relegated

Different situation entirely.  Fjortoft was class, a superb footballer and a cult hero on the terraces.  Fallon is Mr Average and that's being nice.

Also have you started to wonder why we are using two threads to discuss this matter?

the point was we sold are top scorer, im not compared Fjortofts talents to Fallons, rather the importance their goals played in the season.

We got rid of our top scorer and went down, thats a fact!

The two threads are keeping me on my toes Cheesy
