Could do I guess - no point in driving unless theres a full car I suppose - cost a lot in petrol.

Are there many stops via train?

If the M25 is behaving itself.

Years ago a trip to Kent, used to consist of a tortuous journey along the old A roads like the 25....fringing the leafy outer stockbroker belt of London.

Many of the roads were little better than the cart tracks dating from the pre Roman period....it was rather fine if slow.

On nearing Kent you'd be greeted by a vast array of exotic brewery names, the like of which were unknown in the West Country

Also the oast houses which were all over and used for the drying of hops for beer.
