I agree maybe Whalley for McDermott, but hard to say as I didn't go last weekend.  I hope Ifil is on the bench, unlucky for Collins but oh well.  Is Smith fully fit? He's worth playign if he is for definate

Harsh on Collins not even on the squad, swap Jenkins for Paddy.

Other than that I'd go with that.

"Swindon forward Christian Roberts is doubtful following the knock he sustained in the 1-0 win at Rotherham"

seeing as 4-5-1 seems to work quite well away from home, i'd go for...

Code:

                  Evans

Jenkins   Comyn-Platt   O'Hanlon   Nicholas

                  Miglioranzi

Bouazza   Pook          Whalley    Brown

                  Fallon

stef playing a deep holding role, a little further forward than he played against rotherham with pook and whalley providing the forward momentum in midfield. bouazza out wide on the right but playing high up the pitch when we've got posession.

collins was poor against rotherham, particularly his distribution.

Not sure Jenks is sharp enough even if he is fit.
Ifil doesn't deserve to displace CCP at LCB.
Is Smith fit again? RB if so.
Brown was poo and not good enough to replace anybody.
Migz-if-fit should be captain and play in front of a back four.
Two wide men to supply/support Fallon and get back in defence.
Roberts still not fit so Shakes on right with Bouazza on left.

......................Evans........................
Smith......O'Hanlon CCP......Nicholas
.......Pook Migz-if-fit McDermott.......
Shakes..............................Bouazza
.......................Fallon......................

4-5-1 defending
4-3-3 attacking

He doesn't score that often for a striker though.
Think of it as not converting enough chances. He gets the "chances" through skill and pace and these chances are not just for him. Others are often in a better position but he's so intent on scoring himself that he won't pass to them. Both he and Shakes need to get those crosses/passes in.

Someone suggested it to me (might have been DV) and it was a great idea...instead of using Bulman to cross it in for Evans to catch, why not get Shakes to do it to improve his crossing?

Great idea!! Shakes and Bouazza could practice crossing straight into the goalkeeper's arms
