But Phil! You've always said that you wasn't born in Manchester just that your family were. Either way your not warranted to support them. If you've been raised up in Swindon you should support them anyway. I'm not going to go and find a new mum just because the other might be richer.

If what most of you are saying is correct then the fact that Phil supported the manure before due to family etc should make manure his sole football team, not Swindon.

If you disagree you are just contadicting yourselves.

But my family come from Manchester and have always followed Man United. So i did too. Whats so bad about that? If i didnt have any relations from Manchester at all but still supported them, then fair enough that would be glory hunting.

I'm not bothered, as long as they get beat tonight and Fergie gets wound up I'm happy.  Ideally someone kicked large lumps put of that tart Ronaldo too.

Thank you sir!! spot on, or though i have to say since livin in Swindon (well Wootton Bassett) most of my life, i have to say i support Swindon just as much as i do United, but lets not get onto that as it will just spark another argument. Lets talk about Swindon Town FC now because this isn't a United message board, so i shall now shut up about this and i hope the people arguin that they dont believe anyone should support another team will not carry on about this niether.

No we shant just leave it because this is a topic disucussing the issue of saddo glory hunters. You've been raised in Swindon so support them, if not go and support United.
