Surely though, you must recognise that he is one of the greatest batsman of all time! It really doesn't matter to me that he is not English, i recognise that he is a true genius of the game, and the greatest of the modern era, imho.

so he has scored runs? so what? any batsmen can score runs! ok he has achieved a hell of a lot in the game and he is a world class player so im not taking anything away from him there! if Ian Bell reaches 10, 000 runs in 10 years would you still label him great?
