i think everyone is pretty much getting the same so im going to throw up some different ones! (if possible!)

1. hard not to say parkin, pretty much carried the team.

2. Mark Walters or Ty Gooden, these players were very good and influential! espically Walters (i would put Horlock, best town player of the last 10 years! and my town favourite obviously!)

3. hard to not say Hoddle! or OHHHHH SHAUN TAYLOR!

this is hard actually!

5 years......Tommy Mooney.....everyone else has gone with SSP.....think Fallon is a similar type Mooney offered something else, which is what got us to the PO.

10 years.....Fraser Digby no explanation needed.

15 years......Mickey Hazard.....very nearly a great player,  maybe in a different age he could have been.....I'd love to see someone of his quality week in week out again

So hard to pick em from the past:

last 5 yrs - gotta be Parkin, Super Sammy

5-10 yrs - Taylor,  Ooh Shaun.  (his Leadership edges the goals of Horlock, the pace of Ndah, then again Digby was great!?)

10-15 yrs - Hoddle, Glenn.  (Calderwood, Shearer, Hoddle, Buzzer, Chalky, Moncur, Zippy all from this great golden era, but gotta be Hoddle just because he was quality, the most gifted player for the club in recent years if not ever, despite big Dunc being a total hero of mine as a kid)

5 Lee Holmes or Jimmy Davis
10 Mark Walters
15 Shaun Taylor

I'd trade it all for consistency from Ifil though  :?

Good call - and, while he was here, I think he had a good raport with the fans too.  I know we all hate him for going to the scum, but I remember quite a few occasions over that season when the noise and singing dropped he walked over and tried to gee us up ... Acknowledging the fans during the game in that way is something footballers should do more.
