I think you are confusing Crouch with Joe Cole. That's why we beat the Argies.
Crouch has a reasonable touch for a big man, but he is far too slow in many departments. A lucky spell in the Prem does not make him good. See Beatie, Phillips, etc.aq If you saw the games he played last year there was nothing lucky about Crouch's goalscoring spell. It was Crouch who was crucial to our winning goal against Argentina and that's why we beat the Argies. |

That's not a fact, one thing is clear the guy is an esserntial option for England on the bench, he's the type of player we need to have in reserve ready to come on and shakes things up, cause a few problems when we're looking for a breakthrough, like he did against Argentina. If he can do it against them he can do it against anyone.

Nah, there is no way Emile Heskey would have the same impact if brought on with 10 minutes to go, he just isn't a better option.
