It says he's considering leaving to get some first team football.

Is it just me or would king be an even bigger idiot to loan him out. He moans each week about having a small squad.

Nicholas should be first choice left back. Some would say Dukes playing well, but i don’t think he’s a good defender. He is often caught out and we look week down that side. Duke is a favourite though so i understand Nicholas wanting to go out on loan.

Yep I can understand Nicho's thinking but can we afford to let him go with  a squafd our size.  I realise they'd be a clause in the loan contract saying we could get him back at any time but I think it's be a big mistake to let him go.

Maybe STFC Gazza could start a "Don't go Andy" petition and if he got enough signatures he could send it to the club......

... but then again.

Poor kid, he's never let us down, but to be honest there is no place for him in the starting 11 at the moment

Key part there- at the moment

I reckons Duke should play on the right of midfield or maybe defence if we're stuck for personnel

Won't be long before we are back to a normal 4-4-2 and he'll be back in the side.

Holmes will be back at Derby in a few weeks, hopefully by that point Miglioranzi will be back.

At that point the Stout Brian Howard will be shuffled to the left.  Igoe to the right and the lucky heather salesman will be back up front.

King is desperate to get a midfielder on loan. The only way he can do this is to off load somebody to free up cash. Nicho is the asset he has chosen to use.
Why not Brian Howard - all the big clubs would be after him and you'd get more for your money, lb for lb. Wink

Yeh but Nicholas isn't getting the starts he wants and fatty is. I can't wait for Migz to return, none of our midfield (except Holmes who isn't even our player) is on form

To be honest i would get nicho out on loan, when hes come on hes not looking match sharp and hes been strugglin with injuries, A run of games would help him increase his fitness and push duke more for that LB spot.

It hasn't worked for Howard's fitness ... and he's been playing crap for ages.
