I'd have the Alfa cos it's cool, but would fall to bits and the BMW because it solid as a rock, the little cars are OK, the AYgo/C1/107 is a pretty sweet little car. The european car of the year is always a fairly run of the mill vehicle which all of those are. I'd back the Passatt to win.

New Clio will probably get it - its predecessors have won it.
Although seeing recent trends it'll be the C1 for being far too small and as economical as fluffy puppies - but it's not any good.
Yaris has also won it before, as has a previous Alfa.
I agree with Dave though, cars are getting uglier again based on that look.
