Claim it on your house insurance - its covered as house contents even if damaged down the pub - check your policy

Mate has just done the very same thing after dropping it down the pisser.

Actually my parents house insurance covers my stuff at uni.  Could be worth a good shout. Just persuade the rents to find out for you (and claim)  Wink

Simon is spot on, as you reside with Mater and Pater your contents are equally covered by their house policy so you could claim that way.

Thing is though for a couple of hundred quid it may not be worth claiming and screwing up any sort of no claims style bonuses they may have.

If you check out the ebay you can get replacement screens easily enough and all of the kit and knowledge you need to do it yourself.

I know of quite a few people with D500's who have had weird problems, some of my buttons have stopped working but other people have had the screens fuck up as well.

My phone insurance is only £3 a month...

Are you covered for theft, accidental damage and abroad?

Excellent.

I wouldn't mind some of that if it does abroad as well.

There’s one for you entrepreneurs, specialist mobile phone insurance.
