....only player in a red shirt who remotely looked like a player today.

Also assiduously avoided kicking anyone, as he obviously wants to kick a few shitheads Clap

Just how bad was Thorpe.  Any reason he should even be in the squad again, aside from a flu epidemic.

Thought Nico and Jenks were alright, thought SeanO was solid for most of the first half, but seemed to go to pot in the second half

You'd have thought Thorpe may have shown a bit of interest what with the game v shitty coming up.....I'd have thought a loan move to O*frod would be a good idea.

SOH probably had his worst ever game for us....Jenks was steady, but no more and Nicho culpable for the second goal.

I thought Jenks was ok, only flaw was his pace.
I hate to criticise the man, but Seano did go a bit to pot.

We should try and sign him permanently, Swansea won't want much for him.

Gurney signed a 3 year deal, roughly a year ago......Swansea are currently paying a chunk of his wages,  a best case scenario would be that we could extend the loan to the end iof the season, then sign Gurney on an 18 month contract, to get him off Swansea's wage bill in return.

This would require Gurney though to take a drop in money, something he may not want to do......

Thorpe was disapointing, i would have thought he would show Iffy that he had what it takes to play 1st team, obviously not.

Gurney is a fucking legend, I will piss myself in excitment if we get him, would be a fantastic signing.  Best defender outside the Premiership, and even then he could give a few of the buggers there a run for their money...
