I love going away and seeing signs saying 'Wakefield, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Leeds' etc.

It makes me think 'Ooooh, I'm really up north!'

I am very easily pleased

I hated seeing those signs! I lived oop north for 3 years and drove down every other week for a year or so to help build my own house. After we'd move back down south for a couple of years I had to start driving that road every week for another year until we moved out to the US. I know exactly where each of those sign posts are located !

I hate them - It's a constant reminder that I live at the end of the country filled with northern monkeys

Nothing I love more than seeing the "Swindon 23" sign when coming onto the 'new' Dual Carriageway off the roundabout a bit up from Birdlip Hill. (not sure how many miles it is)

No doubt. Its a small world after all, its a small world after all...(I'll be listening to that for the next 2 weeks in Disneyland). I'll have my laptop so I can keep up to date !
