Swedish Pear Cider! I had a phase, where I developed a taste for perry (pear cider)...it was difficult to find, the best place I knew was the Weston's press at Much Marcle...this was pre Fred West notoriety. Ace old fashioned place....where you could rock up and have a tasting. Its slightly odd how you get these tastes for a particular brew or drink and then somehow almost unnoticed it changes to something else......Budvar tonight Wonder whether Weston's is still there? Answer your own question Reg http://www.westonscider.com/about_history.php

Looks good.....what strength? 4.5%. Had been drinking a very pleasant Russian Beer at 4.8% earlier in the evening and was going to try some Belgian stuff called Duval but noticed it was 8.5 % so decided on the Pear Cider instead!

Carling it is then! You'll need to drink about 20 pints of Carling to get pissed! Nice lager, but weak as piss.
