that's sort of my point reg, you can only eat a 'mans' kebab when you're drunk In fact only hardcore individuals now eat any chicken....wusses think they'll get Birdy flu...especially hardcore is chicken from Turkey..which goes in kebabs.

For years I've been trying to remember to order Chicken or Shish when I get to the Kebab shop, but when I get to the counter the only words that will come out are
'Large Doner with Chilli sauce please mate'

Anyone had one from the frozen dept at any local supermaket? Why anyone would want to buy one of those is beyond me.
Recently got back into chicken kebabs after a bit of a break, lovely, so much nicer than the doner. Shish would be my second choice, actually joint first with chicken. Doner is definitely for drunkards only.

Microwaved in 90 seconds and comes with a tube of chilli sauce. A drunkards emergency feast in a microwavable paper bag. To be honest they’re not that bad the pitta gets a bit moist, but there’s nothing wrong with having steaming wet flaps around your meat. I wouldn’t contemplate it sober mind.

Did you buy it sober thinking one day I'll be pissed and be desperate for one of these...
If so that's great forward planning. I just walk passed them thinking, there's no fucking chance of one of those getting in my basket.

I prefer them in a giant naan bread than a pitta, more substance, greater risk of spillage, not a big kebab fan but a nice chicken donner from kebab land

but there’s nothing wrong with having steaming wet flaps around your meat. The frozen kebabs are good to have in reserve, for when you need an emergency supply. Wedging a load of your own salad in tends to improve them.
