Fuck me just when I thought the wristband fad was over children in need are releasing yellow and red ones now. Despite the fact you might be mistaken as a Hulkamaniac if you wore one I still think they're shit.
What do you reckon, time for wristbands to do one, or are you loving when 25 different coloured bits of plastic round your lower arm.

Good = Selling bits of rubber bought from China for pennies for £25 to mugs on ebay
Bad = So many colours I wouldn't know a children in need from a breast cancer.
Wouldn't ever wear one mind.

I wear a yellow Livestrong one for personal reasons- but I've worn it for 3 years.

I too wear a yellow one. Bought it about two years ago. having family members suffered from cancer and reading lance Armstrongs book and the charity the money goes to really brought it home.
I really hate the way peopel have gimmicked the idea, specailly on e-bay, and have taken the aspect of the bands away. Which is why people think they're shit. People have jumoed on teh band waggon and made them for personal gain instead of charity's profitting.

I've got an orange one saying BenFest 2005. A ludicrously rich mate had a mahoosive birthday party at his mansion, and had about 1000 of these bands made up, which every duly took and are still being worn to this day. A great idea as a momento for the day but must have cost a bomb!

I wear one to support the charity my girlfriend works for.
What I hate is all the pound shops that sell 3 for quid which say gay shit like "Beermonster" etc, you get all the pikeys buying these which denies charities money......

A great idea as a momento for the day but must have cost a bomb! Cheap as chips, I was going to get some knocked up to flog. We could get some Townend.com ones made up and mail them out to everyone. It would be like the Masons secret handshake and you could nod discernibly at others you spot.

I too had a livestrong one but it snapped, bought it when a family friend was being treated for testicular cancer.
I usually wear a make poverty history wristband and occasionally that standup/speakup black & white thingy.
I hate seeing people with shitloads on though, it's like they want to be commended for supporting charity and following fashion. Cunts.

I'm sure that if we wore an anti bullying wristband in our day then we'd be bullied for it.
If it raises more money for the charity then fine, but the hole fashion thing is nuts.
