if you don't live too far away and you've got nowt to do tonight, get your arse along to the county ground.

it's only a fiver and will be a good opportunity to see some of the youths and reserves in action if you're unable to go to reserve games due to the afternoon kick-offs.

kick-off is 7:30pm, £5 for adults and £1 for children. imagine the club's surprise if nearly 1,000 people turned up  Cheesy

of course, if you've got other stuff to do or can't be arsed then i can't blame you, but try and make the effort. i'll buy you a pint

i'm giving this serious consideration. i want to see what Ben Wells can offer, how shit Chris Taylor is, and whether Thorpe can actually still fill the onion bag.

We won 1-0. Heath grabbing the only goal.

A cracker from the edge of the box laid on by Wells.
Thorpe was useless, I dislike him more and more.
Bulman made some smart saves to keep us in it.

Wow, what a game!  :?

1-0 win to Swindon, Heath with a left foot shot from outside the area into the top corner during the second half.

Thorpe was shit, had the ball at his feet within 6/7 yards of the goal on several occasions and didnt manage to get a shot on target.

Ben Wells did well, particularly in the second half. He did a very flash looking turn on the edge of the area, pro-evo-esque...nothing came of it though.

Our number 3 (left back) had a decent game, as did number 11 (David Stroud?). Bulman made a good save second half.

You didnt really miss much if you didnt go. Sat in the directors box in the second half...the comfy seats made it slightly more bare-able.

That was ace, I travelled from Oxford, Whits came from Newbury and Mex came all the way from Brighton - LOYAL SUPPORTERS!

Pretty dull game but some nice football nevertheless, both Stroud and Wells stood out as good players whilst Thorpe was totally disinterested, made no effort to attack the ball from crosses and stood with his hands on his hips and sighing for most of the game. Went straight down the tunnel after he got subbed as well.

Heath's goal wasn't bad but he was shite for the rest of the game, constantly muscled off the ball by non-league part-timers whilst Collins looked to have finally found his level.

Chris - number 3 was Chris Taylor.
