I have been having a debate about this with my plonker of a cousin(city fan is why he's a plonker). He seems to think jamie was born in bloody bristol,But I have heard he was born in swindon and his dad owns a season ticket at swindon and jamie used to go and watch them play alot but does not anymore(obvious reasons)but still keeps an eye out on the score.

You have debates about Jamie Cullum?

Cullum was born in Essex and grew up in Wiltshire.

Massive bump!!!
Seen him on Alan Carr tonight on a clip, then remembered seeing him at a town game.
So is he a town fan? 🙈

There used to be an advertising hoarding in the DRS stating pretty much as such.

BUT THEN THAT COULD HAVE BEEN ADVERTISING BULLSHIT

There's a picture of him in a programme somewhere sitting with Sophie Dahl at a game and they've got scarves and everything.  He's a fan.

Thanks Sam.  Now I look like a dick because they don't have scarves.  I'm sure there was a scarf involved at some point.

Yes Jamie Cullum is a Town fan despite what some people say, he was at Wembley for the JPT and the last play off final because he said so on his Radio 2 show. He has also been a guest of Lee Power and Andrew Fitton at games.

Also on Radio 2 co presenter Tim Smith from the Steve Wright show is a big Town fan, again self proclaimed, for last Christmas Steve Wright bought Tim a pair of Swindon Town socks Cheesy

I met Jamie through work about nine years ago, had to direct him for a piece for some lottery show, and I used out mutual Town support as an ice breaker. we'd lost that day, and he had just come off the phone from his dad who'd been at the game.  He was thoroughly pissed off with the result, a true fan.

He was here last year for Elbjazz festival and also the Echo Jazz award evening, where I meet him briefly.

Think he was happy to find somebody who spoke English, we spoke about Swindon. He seemed to know his stuff

Whose Jamie Cullum?

I'm always surprised to find Town fans where ever you go in the Berkshire area - work, pubs, abroad, especially those who supported us in the 60's and 70's but no longer go.
So many conversations in pubs starting who do you support? Swindon - so do I - have you gone recently  - answer no - why - been a couple of times but just not the same, etc, etc, mainly watcy Reading these days or go to non league games.
Why have we lost so many supporters?
