I think I am going to have a power cut. My lights keep flickering and my Sky has already gone off once.
I hear we are going to have a tuff winter that lots of power cuts seem likely. Someone also told me that we may have to have a 3 or 4 day work week to save power due to the bad weather we suppose to be getting?
Anyone else heard this?

The 3 day week sounds fun, but I guess we'd only get paid for the days we work which isn't so good. If that's not the case though then bring it on.
Anyway I doubt we'll have a bad winter, hasn't been one for years now, 1 or 2 days of light snow at the most.

Last winter was freezing and the year before in fact. The rain at the moment is ridiculous I got soaked yesterday even on just a 5 minute walk. Even though it's sunny today it's still fucking raining.

The 3 day week sounds fun, but I guess we'd only get paid for the days we work which isn't so good. If that's not the case though then bring it on The 3 day week was ace, although a student at the time....when there was a power cut looming you'd make sure to go to a birds or invite them round yours, light the candles and realise there was nowt to do.....well other than shag. STFC had to play either on a Sunday, so Jimmy Allan refused to play which meant Alan Spratley...quite possibly the least competent keeper in our history played, or mid week afternoons, a crowd of 2600 v Looton showed this not to be a great idea. We had a generally shit season finishing bottom of the old old Div 2....with the lowest gates in the league at just over 7000 average. We'd manage to drop from 14000 in a couple of seasons.

I can't really remember last winter. I'm sure it was chilly though.

Last winter was so mild I used to walk to work in a t shirt, speedo's and bare feet. And I used to walk the long way round too, walking through as many puddles as I could. I found it so warm on some January days I'd often have to stop at these puddles I mention and roll around in them just to cool down a bit.
That's how mild it was you, fucking pussies!

Yeah but you're part scottish so it would seem warm but I knew the truth it was super cold. Coldest in living memory I believe. The summer was pretty cold as well. Why has it suddenly got so cold. I blame global warming.
