Quote from: "sonicyouth"
My only memory of last winter was freezing my bollocks off in the 4-1 thrashing of Hull, I've never been so cold in my life.

That wasn't that cold, it snowed I grant you but I remember countless games in the 80's coming out of the ground, and when I got back to my car my hands were so cold I could hardly turn the key. At least with standing you tended to keep warmer then in the ground.

Reg will tell you it was even colder in the 60's/70's etc, winter's don't exist anymore, but people have got softer with central heating etc.

Anyway, I like the cold for some strange reason, it always makes for a good evening match in my opinion, that's how football should be.

I feel your pain Ron.....you could have, of course subsequently, eaten it in a fish finger sandwich.
